We looked out and she laid an egg, out in the open, and basically stood there looking at it for several minutes. She must of been a young hen and didn't know what was happening! Finally, she left it there in the middle of the lawn, went up in the tree, and some critter had omelets overnight. It was completely destroyed by morning. (Raccoons?). I believe he was looking for a woman; seeing a reflection instead. Crazy thing did this for more than 1.5 hours one day and some more the next day.
