Crazy Turkeys
Ok, so a couple nights ago, this hen was standing near our trees - river side. We looked out and she laid an egg, out in the open, and basically stood there looking at it for several minutes. She must of been a young hen and didn't know what was happening! Finally, she left it there in the middle of the lawn, went up in the tree, and some critter had omelets overnight. It was completely destroyed by morning. (Raccoons?). We see the most crazy things here; I love it!

The Trillium are Here!
The trillium are in bloom and they are beautiful! Hope they last for a long time.
Last night we saw an eagle fishing on the river. They fly so quietly and are beautiful. Thanks God for letting me live on this awesome site!

Eagle Sighting on the River
Thursday night there was a beautiful eagle sitting right outside our window in the tree. It was overlooking the river and fishing. Steve said it wouldn't sit there long and he was right.
Two sightings in two days! I need a better camera!

Beautiful Winter Day on the River!
What a beautiful day on the river. The sun in the winter is a rare thing here in Michigan and when it shines with a beautiful blue sky - it is GREAT!
The river is froze solid enough for snowmobiles to maneuver. Last year we saw a guy go through thin ice. He wasn't hurt - probably cold - kinda funny.
